3 Easy Ways to Make Time To Exercise

The most common excuse for not exercising is “I don’t have time”. But as busy as we may be, we have less troubles finding time for television, social media, or other mindless and non-urgent tasks.

Let’s be honest. People tend to put their health on the back burner. It all comes down to time management and values. It’s simple! If you want to live a more well balanced life, you’ll make time for exercise.

Here are 3 Easy Ways to Make Time to Exercise:

1. Wake up earlier

I know, it sounds horrible! But we always wish for more time in the day and in reality, we can have it! Many people find that working out at the start of your day is much easier and find that they’re less likely to put it off.

2. Schedule it

Whether it’s in the morning, afternoon, or evening, schedule it! Once it’s written down, you’re more likely to follow through with it. Schedule it in your planner and keep it as consistent as you can. This way it becomes a routine and shows up daily so you can avoid scheduling something else during that time.

3. Be motivated by money

Putting some money on the line will probably help you stay motivated and keep you from bailing. Sign up for a fitness class or book sessions with a personal trainer. If you pay for it in advance, you will want to follow through with it because... who want’s to lose money, right?

Not a fitness class kind of person? Try putting a few dollars away every time you exercise then reward yourself with some new activewear or that bag you’ve been wanting at the end of the month.
